Im now going to install another 2GB of RAm (I will have 4x 1GB then) I know 32Bit Vista wont 'see' 4GB installed, but 64Bit Vista will (I think thats right lol) So should I upgrade to the 64Bit version
What benefits would I gain from doing so? Also would this effect my gaming for the better or worse?

im curious about this also, running 32b vista ultra here, going to be getting new mobo etc and just wondering if its worth the upgrade to 64bit.
granted, I will still just have 2gb ram, but it would future proof my needs.
(not hijacking ur thread mate) my Questions are probs inline with your own..
what about overclocking too, and atitool...

64-bit Vista = Next to no drivers.
32-bit Vista = OK drivers.
I couldn't get any drivers for my non-nvidia hardware when I upgraded to it.

though the drivers for 64bit are a little harder to come across you will benefit from having the extra RAM accessible to play with, best thing to do is just upgrade and see for yourself if it runs better or worse on your system

Very untrue, there are plenty of 64-bit drivers.

Not exactly accurate as far as three of my machines are concerned, but that is not exactly the primary issue. Stability and maturity of said drivers is more important than their availablity. For instance, some of the 64-bit drivers I’ve ran into over the last year or so are not much better than a "no-drivers at all" option. Just too much trouble and too many issues. So, driver maturity is another thing to consider, and as far as 64bit operating systems are concerned, Vista 64-bit to be specific, there is a long way to go.

Wow, whats with the run of people asking about 64 bit OS this week. Makes me start to consider it sooner, rather than later.
