Since EA has a hand in this game, I doubt they will release any additional official maps. They announced the expansion pack weeks ago, so they dont care about BF2 anymore.

BF2's expansion is already availible for preorder... Although there are a good number of massive maps on BF2 that should keep you busy for hours before you get good at them.

nvm about my ? cause i noticed that on online play that theres more maps and they are the original maps but like more uncovered

There are 2 custom maps you can download off FileFront but alas, they are not available on ranked servers.
