I've just discovered this super little utility. I've not heard it mentioned here or in many other places... so maybe its new to you too.

Its a FREE defragmenter. From the makers of ccleaner. (The BEST and fastest cleanup utility out there).

http://www.defraggler.com/ allows you to defragment JUST ONE FILE, or JUST ONE FOLDER, really easily.

Use it on your games directory, or other specific files that you suspect as slowing you down.

This is not an ad for the software, just a tip. We all love useful and free utilities :)

Neat, I'll check it out, and see how flexible it is.

Just a shame there's no circular graph representing the tracks of your disk.

@mandelore

Do your games play better now you've defragged? Your oblivion and steam files look like they are in need of some attention. I bet they load quicker and have less "stutter" loading new graphics resources in game. Report back.

Hm, I just did a defrag with Windows' crap earlier, and this went and actually took a while to defrag. So I guess Windows lied when it said all my data was blue :p

I wonder how this compares to Power Defrag GUI (http://www.majorgeeks.com/Power_Defragmenter_GUI_d4647.html)/Contig (http://www.microsoft.com/technet/sysinternals/utilities/contig.mspx)?
Does that same thing but one may be faster. I personally love the above combo.

My 2 pennies...

Does for me it just says x64 not compatible. ( some thing like that anyways. i'll try it when they release the x64 version.. I'll just keep using Ultimate Defrag.

Ultimate Defrag is still the best for me, but it doesn't support Vista, or at least 64 as of the last version they released. There might be a work around, I have yet to find it though.
