New egg extension ?

ok, I am buying hardware and did not know for sure where to post, please forgive is miss-posted to wrong area!

What is a Service extension plan, does it run after the warenty or concurrent? I e the three your sep runs from year 2-4 if the manu warranty is one year?

I am pretty sure that it's just from newegg and runs at the same time as your regular warranty.

ya and i wouldnt bother with buying extended warranty because with electronics for the most part it either works or it doesnt and if its going to fail on you it will do it during the actual warranty they give you so extended warranty is just a waste of money dont bother with it.
