i had some doubts about my psu ,el-weirdo thing was ; on the net i just found a 450w ver , after that i ask here for measurin wattage of psu & wizaard answerd there no simple way for measurin psu's power's sum . btw till a little bit ago i found very nice trick ! i dunno maybe i'm wrong but somehow i'm sure it's a 450w psu instead of 400.

the problem is! ; 152+276 = 378 or 152+276=428

Uhm, ;) they put the max wattages like that so you know that if you only use the +12V lines for ex. the max is 276W for that 2 combined. The same for the combined +3.3V and +5V rating - max 152W. BUT, if you max out all of these lines at the same time, it can't supply the full 428W because the PSU is now loaded at more places, but only 378W max... The 22W for -12V and +5VSB doesn't get affected most of the time. But the most important thing to look at when buying a PSU is the 3.3V and 5V combined wattage. Then, if you have alot of fans and drives, you can look at the 12V max to make sure you have enough power. Try to get a PSU with at least 200W on the 3.3V and 5V combined power rating... ;)

Wattage is not the only concern, amps shows a better picture of the psu power. Min. amps on a 12v rail should be 20amp. What your adding up is peak load for 60secs.

let tell this way , i bought some very expensive fan although it says it works with 200ma it won't at least it need 500ma on 12-7.5v for workin but it run charmin on my psu usin an aerogate, .(i test these fans with some other psus & no one gimme answer )

let be back for stone age & some "more weight, more better" hence i must say this very heavy psu is real somtin(also expens  ) .... about v on 12 with max power consumption it goin down about 11.888 .
5v-4.97\5vsb-4.88\3.3v-3.232.-btw i have no idea about peak load for 60sec it not mentioned.(as i said i realy wanna measure it but as wiz said there are no simple way !)

& - cpu ~ 90-100w / vga ~ 100w / 4drive ~ 50~60w / 6*2w fan / 2*4w/1*10-15w/some light & etc / @ its max power consum, never goes higher than 350w~ though.....
