A friend of mine recently bought and installed Windows XP Home for his HP computer. He asked me to find drivers for him, and provided his system information. I directed him to a download page for his specific unit, but they are for Media Center. He tried them, and they don't seem to be working. I have looked for XP Home falvored drivers and havn't found any. If you could find some XP Home drivers for him, that would be great. Here's his system info:

Thats the only thing i can find so far for you.
Also if you try the MS updates, get the Microsfot updates and not the windows updates (theres a slight difference) it might find drivers for your hardware....just as long as they are from the manufacturer!

I'm guessing his mobo drivers can be found here. http://game.amd.com/us-en/drivers_catalyst.aspx?p=xp/integrated-xp

Otherwise, I need more info on the specific models of the rest of his parts.

That's what we tried.

Wile E, those are video card drivers? That won't help :/

The best thing to do Hat, would be to find out what motherboard and chipset it is. Doesn't Windows Update give you anything?

Integrated chipsets from AMD use the graphics drivers. I found ti so weird, when I had ATi mobo chipset (Xpress 200) and graphics card (both the X1800GTO and X1950GT), that I could install just one big driver package, and it would install the updates for both.
The drivers Wile E linked to should be the necesarry ones.
