Hi,
I am building a PC for a friend, but I'm not adding windows.
What software is used to burn in a new PC, and also test all the hardware to make sure everything (VGA, RAM, etc.) is working properly?

Memtest86 for RAM. VGA would requires drivers to test completely. Plenty of tools for harddrives, download the ultimate boot cd, it contains plenty of diagnostic software.

thanks guys!
I guess memtest86 and ultimatebootcd are programs that resellers use as well for testing?

I know the IBM repair center in .nl uses Memtest and PCcheck. For harddrives they use DFT.
