Hi guys
Here is a quick mod I did on a SilverStone TJ-06 Silver case for a friends build.
Pictures below will show before and after shots of the case. The front of the case took me about a week to complete because of the 5 stage water sanding by hand to smooth out the lines. Then a 4 stage buffing on the front to polish it out. Last night I added the diamond plate stickers to the front 5.25 bays and to the Left/Top/Right side of the case. I think the front of the case came out great along with the window side and top, but the other side of case with the skull decal did not come out so great do to the uneven diamond plate when I applied it to the side. I also took out the front 80mm top fan and added a second 120mm fan to the front intake making it two Thermaltake 120mm Blue LED Case intake fans to help cool the overclocking Q6600, and 7900GTO inside. I bought a Tuniq tower for this case, but found out quickly that the CPU cooler would not fit in this case. (<--- That cooler is HUGE ) So I bought a MASSCOOL 8WA741 92mm Ball CPU Cooler rated at 74.41 CFM 39.80 dBA to help cool the Q6600. I am planning on installing the parts today and Overclocking it on Friday to be shipped out by 5:00pm to my friend in Las Vegas, NV.
More pictures later on when I finish the build
