Is there a program to get the key to your operating system?
I was about to reinstall xp on the wifes PC and realized I have lost the key.

The only legit way to do it, would be to call Microsoft.

Yes, that's the one I use. It even works when booting from a different windows install or from Ultimate Boot CD to access the key of very broken windows installs.

Everest Ultimate tells me my key.

Theres a little tool called RockXP, also allows you to change it.
