I think that I am raising the bull shit flag on this one guys.
I'm raising the bullshit flag, the flag made from real bullshit, the red flag, and the flag made out of a mixture of red and bullshit.

In either case, how do you like your Gigabyte GA-MA790FX-DQ6 + Phenom? I'm planning on getting that motherboard next week =D. Does it come with a good amount of accessories? Based on NewEgg pics, it comes with less than the P35-DQ6 ='[.

get the dfi lanparty 790fx man dont get the gb...........
dfi is slightly frowned upon for being so hard to fine-tune. There's so many options, so many factors for instability.

The DFI board doesn't offer serial, so its out of my options.

...sad.
But I guess it only means DFIs are only for people who know what they're doing.

DFI is also known for the high ass OC you can get on them but you have to take the time to get to know the system.

And Gigabyte has been t3h pwn lately. I really like their Ultra Durable 2 series. The P35, and X38 mobos have been real sweet. I ordered my Gigabyte GA-MA790FX-DQ6 yesterday and hope to get it by friday. Its going to be sweeet!
I like DFI but never tried them though. But they turned their backs on AMD users. They canceled the AM2 version of the CFX3200 for an Intel version! I'll never forgive them for that.

I must say I've been tempted by some of the recent DFI boards. If I want to take overclocking to the next level I need a board where it's really challenging but allows me to reap the benefits through persistence.

Is a ECS A770M + PhenomX4 9500 for $299 a good deal? I know ECS is crap but still its a good board for regular use.

Well, if you subtract $250-270 from $300. Is it less than what the board retails for? If so, then its a good deal. If anything, you can ebay/sell the board :P
