Well, since PT is a lazy bastard and won't update his, I am starting a new one. Rather than sort through all of his backlogs, just post new ones. ORB, or Pic with CPU and GPU Z clock please.

i dont see no proof that you got 20,008 in 05...if you want us to rerun the benchies shouldnt you post link to your verification also

JC, not dissin ya or anything, but where's your post of results w/screenies and verifacations? Your sig shows 20,004 you posted 20,008. Granted only 4pts, you should set example for the other users you want to follow. I'll be posting my results shortly...been a while since I ran 3dm 05, figured I might as well see what I can score now compared to my old screens. Also, dig the layout.

DOH!, I knew I missed something. Yeah yeah, I know, I fucked it up lol. We only have one that hasn't been updated since october because PT is lazy. I will keep this one updated.

Very nice score, I pulled off 14k with my setup w/oc'd x1950xtx. The reason why GPU-Z is detecting my OC'd clocks (this also works with CCC from my testings) is due to a custom bios I made that has custom clocks, custom bios, but no matter what I did to the fan settings, they wouldn't cooperate, so I use ATI Tool for that.

I'm sure you'll take care of this thread just fine JC, just had to flip ya a little crap! :D

Here ya go:

I guess I can manage running a benchmark...
does it matter if my system is stable? I know for a fact the GPU is, but I'm running some different RAM, HT, FSB, and CPU settings right now..

hey would you also add the cpu types to the scorelist?

OrbitzXT

Isn't 05 kind of pointless for anyone with a next generation card? It's all dependent how high you can clock your CPU, and dual cores will outperform quads in this test.

There's still some dependency on GPU, I mean otherwise JC and his 2900 and e4300 @ 3.5 wouldn't have stomped my x1950xtx and e6300 @ 3.5 right? Sure it's only 6k points, but kind of interesting to see what the new cards are pulling off in an older bench. Interesting to see 8800GTs and 38xx's within a few thousand of my score. And I know it's true that the CPU plays a big role in 05, but 3d power is still relevent imo.

Well like I said, next generation cards. Your card is outdated compared with the latest stuff. My point is though that JC gets a higher score than me in 05 because his dual core can clock higher than my quad, but in 06 where it matters less I get a higher score.

Orbit, you're G0 can't hit 3.5? I never looked too far into those, but I have read here and there that those are "supposed" to hit 3.6+ easily...but no two G0's are exactlly the same either, granted technology is more consistant now.

So you think you'd score the same or better if you could get that extra 200mhz?

i will ask a mod to close the other thread, and going to give jc the updated score list of the other thread :)

just to let you know . . . my score on the list is wrong. The 9k score from my screenie is a xFire setup. The link I posted under it, which is an 8k score, is for a single card score that I submitted to hwbot.

and that puts me at the bottom of the ATI lists - damn Pentium 4!!!
