Just taking a shot in the dark here, but I think that he wants someone in the US to ship him a graphics card since he is in the UK.

This is interesting. I'd do it, except what if the card's DOA....and things like that. Oh and I bet shipping would cost like $20 lol.

Sometimes more than $20 actually. I shipped an 8800GTS to Australia and it cost $30.

I gotta say, it's probably not really worth it, as anything over £36 in value, if it's not a gift (I think it's £36 for non-gifts, but gifts still have a limit on value) needs to have customs charges paid off. So you'd be spending, let's say, $200 on a graphics card, $35 on shipping, and even if it's marked as a gift, I'd say another £20-30 for customs, coming up to £142.50 or so.
I think I ordered something valued at $118 or so from Jinx (a bunch of T-shirts, cos they have loads, but none over in Europe for sale), and this was way before the conversion rate was £1=$2, so I musta paid like £75, with shipping, and then another £18 for customs charges. It of course wasn't marked as a gift.
It's quite expensive, and I've gotta say, you should really only buy from the US, if the deal is an enormous saving. As mentioned though, you'd be lost, if the card was DoA.
Woah Mama!

DOA, that is why most international buyers would ask the person who is sending the card to just plug it into their rig to see if they can see it post, if not then it saves everyone a headache. It's what, one screw/clip and maybe a pull out lock on the board to take a video card out? Takes like, 7.517 seconds.

One other thing to consider when doing this kind of thing (apart from returns) would be 'Customs'. If customs stop it, you may be in for an additional charge before your actually allowed the item :(
EDIT: Ive just read Ripper3 and Im basically backing up what he said ;)

Yeah, but sometimes people prefer taking in a sealed box, although that is ofc an obvious thing to do, that can save a lot of hastle, and takes next-to-no-time at all.
