ok so i ran reg cleaner and the same thing that happened on my xp32 bit happened on 64 at first i thought it was because of the things and services i disabled however it isnt it all happenes after reg cleaner and sure enoiugh b4 i deleted all the entries i looked at the bottum of the list and it said something about royal.scr etc...and well sure enough my theme doesnt work and wont ..something about not responding in a timely fasion and not only that but i need to activate in 3 days because my hardware has changed and so i look under system and well it only shows my ram....so iv narrowed it down to the reg mod i did but now i need to rebuild it cause i dont want to format and my comp ios as slow as mollasis....and unfortunetely no i didnt tell it to save the reg b4 deleting......any one?

hmmm, maybe have someone with the same exact OS as you give you a copy of their working registry or look for a download on the internet(Google is Great). Not sure if that would work, but just throwing Ideas out their, good luck.:)

But it's not that big of a hole why not just use your XP disk to 'repair ' your install ...
you might have to rework some of the reg after but at least you won't have to reformat
