It's all coming back to me now... :).

I remember when the N64 was $99 and each cartridge was at least $50 (even for old games!). I remember begging and pleading my parents to get me it, and I never got anything until the PS2 came out....

Play station games were $50 for as long as I can remember, and I got one of the very first units. I still recall playing the Metal Gear Solid demo about 10 times in a row, just to see how fast I could beat it without being seen or killing anyone...

Oh yes, that reminds me, these were the days that $1.25 was a gallon of premium gasoline :).

I can remember selling all of my original Generation 1 Star Wars figure collection to raise £55 to buy 'Mortal Kombat II' on the SNES (man I was ripped off, I would be looking at £500 on ebay for that gear right now!) Oh well, MKII was awesome :rockout:

I remember wanting all of that stuff SO bad when I was a kid. My friend next door was rich, so his parents got him everything, I played it and wanted it even more.

I drove my parents stark raving nuts over a Sega CD (Finally got it when the rich kid got a playstation and gave me his Genesis/CD combo).

I also remember wanting the SNES and saving every penny to get it. When I bought it, I paid $100 in cash and $30 in change to get that All Star Edition.

My SNES was 199.99

You bought earlier than I did. My first $199.99 outing was my Dreamcast. God I loved that thing and I regret selling it.

I had the SNES on the first Xmas. It went down the following week. so I took it back and exchanged it for a new one(It had only been a week)and they gave me the money difference.
