For any other users did you have trouble with installing the 7.11 catalyst? I can't open ccc once it is installed (XP).
I also can't get 3d mark 06 to open once I put it in.
Any body have tips?

Can u elaborate a bit on the patching part as AM3 runs but will not show score...3D05 just stalls on load up, havent tried 06 yet.
Link to thread maybe for "patching" please?

CCC do u have net framework installed? Yes and 7-10 works fine, but ccc does not show for 7-11. It lists as running but not visible.
On another downside my 5000+ black box does not work with my mobo bios as claimed. Going to try anothe bios.

In the news there was a patch released for the HD cards. Not sure about the HD3k cards. Its in the futuremark dir and one of the dll files needs to be removed. There is only two files there.

Well as a noob in true fasion would do I didnt write the file name down, figureing Id get it wrong and have to reinstall.
As DaMulta says its a 50/50 shot , so I left the ATI.......dll in place and removed the dir.....dll and 05 ran without a hitch. THX DM you are the man of the hour!

the ccc is not installed properly.. browse the cd and run the setup.exe direct from the ccc folder.. i had to install the drivers from windows directly as well.. the setup couldnt call the windows install shield.. its not uncommon and just with the XP set up..
if u have the 7.10s installed its not a dotnet 2 thing.. and all the 3dmarks form 2003 onwards need that dll moving or renaming to work with the 2000 and 3000 series cards..
the official 7.11s wont install in xp either.. the ones that come with the card are a hybrid..

OK I stick with the 7-10 for now, no problem. The 3d mark patch worked.
