Hi,
I am going to wipe my comp this weekend, I have been using vista as my main OS to try it out. Now I have decided to go to a Dual Boot cus XP is better for DX9 Gaming (right?) and I want vista for my internet surfing, word processing, email, etc.
I have two Hardrives, an IDE and a SATA, I want XP on the SATA so it is faster for gaming and VISTA on the IDE. Now Ideally i do not want the Xp install to be able to see the Vista install. So I thought, would this be possible:
Format both HDD's so that - IDE is a GPT Partition (as I believe 32bit XP cannot see this)
- SATA is an NTFS partition
Install XP on SATA,
Then can I install vista onto the IDE? and create a successful Dual boot, accomplishing what i set out to do above?
Cheers.
