I found it funny in games lik SOF1 and 2 when you jumped in the snow and looked down and two foot prints would just appear. :D

Yea its a great demo, raises a lot of questions and a good intro to this game.
Remember since its a demo its bound to be buggy hence possible slow downs for some ppl. As to it being scary, not really. It seemed to be more of a action thriller for me, real scary would be doom 3, that is just so freaky.
I recommend that if you havent seen or play fear demo, you should, best demo in ages.

I liked the reflex system, its cool how its like the genetic addon so it could be increased later in the game? Plus polarising the veiw while in the mode made it sweet.

U noe i changed some settings in F E A R and umm it started to lag me when i get killed at the beggin of the round or when im spec weird . so dose any1 noe how to restore defualts for all settings ?

The mp remindes me a bit of SoF 2, My friend played sof a lot and now we played fear>He owned me :( But a lot of action, i love it!!!

All i know is that the gameplay is pretty sweet with the "bullet time" and so on, but overall, im a story enthusiast, and from what ive seen, its pretty clean cut "blah" story of the mad man who eats people with a mix of a freaky gurl, who looks like she left the movie the RING and jumped into a videogame. BUT what i DO like are the graphics and the gameplay, but lets see how far they go with it. My fav FPS is HL2 not just for visuals, but simply the imagination that was put into it and the gameplay is simply awesome from all the vehicles to different guns to figuring out how to escape by stacking things and the great gravity gun, (no need for bullets) just make sure u got objects around you. But i will download FEAR from somewhere off the net, LOL and play it. And besides, how hard is it to come up with the catchy FEAR stands for First Encounter Asault Recon......geeesh....... but w/e its all good.

The first time I played the demo, it was 2AM and it was pitch black outside. I opened my window to let the cold air rush in. It was awesome. Now I'm not the kind of guy that gets scared at shit, but DAMN that game is pretty creepy in the right environment!

Ok. FEAR is out now. It seems to be one demanding game. I can't get the settings up much above medium, and only a little higher when I overclock. I wonder if this could be because its optimized for NVIDIA, or is my system just not up to the task. Its still beautiful at medium settings, and a wonderful game to play. Its just a blow to my ego that I can't play it Like it was "meant to be played:roll: ."

I had this game preordered...got the special edition....loving the gameplay!!! My syst. specs are below....i have some slowdown...but I think thats due to my 1 gig of ram...cause the auto scan in settings rates my graphics card as custom (high) and my PC stats as medium.

I've seen fear played on a computer with an AMD Athlon 64 3800+, 2 gigs of Ram, and a 7800 GTX and it still had slowdown on occasion. I think it must be a software issue, perhaps some future updates will fix this. I still love the game, its wonderfully creepy, and has some neat lighting effects.

Well i had some lag once i changed my vid settings from custome to medium ... basicly its a demo and demo means "Beta" well sooner or later the developers will fix all these issues , i think theres a memory leak in it , same issue BF2 had once it came out .

Story was pretty good theres a big twist in the end I had it on normal and it got real hard at the end none stop shooting and ducking

I thought the story rocked. This games tops my favorites list by far. It is hardcore FPS with just enough creepy aspects to it.
