DSP Innovations has recently launched a FREE data sheet search site. The site,
www.datasheetpro.com , enables component and design engineers to easily find electronic and

Certainly you can trust the link that enables you to locate product datasheets from hundreds of electronic component manufacturers worldwide.

Grabbed the nearest circuit board and searched 5 components, got wrong results 3 out of 5.
Now I will say it was not a fair test as the circuit board I grabbed was well over 20 years old, However I expected results to be in the same family.
I think the problem is that only sponsers components are included in the search and a cross reference seems to be made with the component number to the sponsers product.
It would probably work just fine with more modern components.

EPIC FAIL.
I tried the chips off a USB card reader, USB hub, PCI modem and a PCI wireless card, and nothing. One had completely wrong results and the others just weren't there. I've had better luck with google.

So the website isn't necessarily bad, it just isn't correct.
Google does come in handy though.
btw, I lol'd at EPIC FAIL for some reason.
