Not sure if this has been posted but last night my X1950XT cf setup could not play this game worth a Sh*t!! Messed around with the settings and it seemed the only setting that made a difference was Lighting. Turned it off and now at 1280 x 800 res and most settings on high everything looks good but most importantly plays smoothly. This is on Vista Home Premium x64.

Heh, 1680x1050, everything on high, 4xAA, plays at a minimum of about 20fps, averaging 35fps, rising to an absolute max. of 40fps. On an 8600GTS overclocked.

EA have said that they are working on a patch and will release it soon because of this rough playing condition on PCs.Ive had it with my X1950XT too.

Sorry it looks worse but I wanted to play it and noticed alot of people complaining about the choppy crap when playing. It plays better for me til I get a better card(s) and/or EA can fix the issues sometime soon.

since nfs 6 all the nfs have been bad ports

the worst for me is NFS carbon, the cars seems like a discotheque with all those lights and the perfomance is lame,
