I've tried it just for the sake of knowing, all you will get is beeps relating to no memory installed...I didn't even get an error screen...blank screen and beeping till I removed power from the board (power switch on case or on PSU).

yes itd beep at you cos there no mem, look in your motherboard manual for the code to the beeps

It is my memory. Keep getting beeps and no display, thought it was my mobo or my gpu but here it turns out to be bad memory. I guess.....

Try one stick of memory and see if that helps...sometimes on newer mb's it helps to initially boot with only one stick of memory to get to BIOS and set memory voltages and timings so that you can boot without issue with more than one stick.

In most cases it is indeed the memory, however it could also be the motherboard that is defective.
