ok i need some help my comp gets unstable when i clock over 880fsb cpu over 3300mhz
when i hit around 900fsb it gets unstable and crashed the cpu temp at idle is around 30c-35c
northbridge idle 39c i tryd chaning up the voltage from 1,525V to 1,700V giving me no stabilitie i started increased the fsb mhz by 1mhz stepping but aint giving my stabiltie cus windows keeps crashing at high fsb clocks i clocked a cpu before on this mainboard from 2000mhz to 2700mhz i tryd 3000 to 3700mhz before at 1,700volt giving me 1 min stabiltie before xp crashes do i have a bad mainboard or is it getting to hot?

What strap are you using?

Is your ram all the same type? DDR400 ram but what kind and how many sticks? 2x1gb and 2x512mb? I bet RAM is going to be what the problem is. IF you are running 2x2gb and 2x512, pull out the 2x512mb sticks so your only running 2Gb's total. Be sure to have the ram setup correctly in the slots. 1a x 2a...or however your mobo recommends. Going over 450FSB(900) with unmatched and uneven ram is going to make it very harder to get a stable OC.

Try taking NB voltage up one notch at a time or in smallest increments as possable until stable. Check Vdimm to ensure it matches Ram specs.

the 865 isnt the best chipset for overclocking, a cheap 965 or nf650 would suit you better but you would be without an agp slot, sorry.
