Sapphire Ati 9550 256mb (Boot-cd)

Sup guys im trying to flash my 9550 bios to a 9600 pro...Iv got the bios from here and the atiflash tool i burn all to cd but the cd doesnt boot when i restart...I start windows in safe mode with command promt and try it from there but it says (adaptor not found)

What am i doing wrong?

Why wont my bootable cd boot?

and how did you make your cd and did you set boot from cd option first in bios??

Ok iv done it now...

I flashed my ati 9550 256mb to a powercolour 9600 pro 256mb everything works fine & it shows up as a 9600...but....

398.25 core & 202.50 memory...but only an avg of 37 - 38 fps on the 3d viewer...

When i had my 9550 running at around the same core & memory as the 9600 i was getting avg 56 - 57 fps...Whats going on?

9600 should give me more fps right?

Then why is it not?
