I’m just worried about this 24 pin connector, they put it in the middle of the board in P5K Pro?,what do you think?

Well i found this-

For users looking to upgrade, Asus has released yet another Intel P35 based motherboard. Ass P5K Pro brings support for FSB 1333 and DDR2 1066 memory, as well as better overclocking performance and better energy efficiency. Asus's latest board features third generation of 8-phase power design which ensures better power efficiency and thermal performance over competitor’s 6-phase design with higher temperatures.

"The ASUS-developed EPU is the first hardware-based on-demand power saving IC controller. This new generation automatic energy saving chip utilizes an innovative hybrid power technology to digitally monitor and fine-tune the CPU power supply with improved VRM efficiency. The main advantage of having real-time automatic detection of the CPU current is to provide total control under any loading and attain the best possible power efficiency and fantastic energy savings. This automatically provides users with more power for higher loadings, while saving up to 58.6% CPU power when their PCs are running low intensity applications – helping in reducing costs and saving the environment."

Tbh,it has no heatpipes, and that 24pin atx connector is in a baad position,so maybe get a p5k-e wifi or summat instead.

My brother had a P5K and the NB heatsink slightly unclipped for no reason causing the NB to fry.

He RMA'd the board and ASUS gave him a P5K deluxe as a replacement.

So if anything goes wrong with the board they might even replace it with a better model.
