For some reason the dual channel isnt working on my Gigabyte S-series w/ P35 chipset. It like wont load up for some reason, when I try and run something in the other channel the comp starts up but the monitor gets no signal or anything. Anyone know what the problem is?

module voltage, check if your memory modules comply with that which your mobo supports.

Alternatively, try running both the modules in the same channel and tell me what happens....

try testing each stick of ram individually, you may have a bad stick of ram.....memtest should do the job!

I need more raw info from you on exactly which modules you're using. If it happens to be DDR2 1066, a lot of 1066 modules perform erratically with Gigabyte's P35 boards.

Well, I looked on the website. Apparently I can have both channels filled with double sided RAM. For some reason with this chipset, it will only take 1 sided if I wanna fill all the slots.

Note: Sorry I made a mistake on the chipset, It is actually a P31 Express chipset.
