I have a broken Sony XPlode CDX-M620, and am pretty darn sure the LCD portion works. Is there anyway to get it to display stuff from my computer either via the DVI or S-Video? :P

I know it's a long shot, but it's a fairly nice display, and I took the backing off and it seemed to have listed everything these solder points do. I just can't decipher them :\

Here's what the unit itself looks like.

It depends if the LCD has a built in controller or not. You need it with the controller to do something.

Well, I grabbed some pictures. There's really nothing on the front except a capacitor, and 2 labeled buttons "Open" and "Reset", which Open is the only one used, so you can put in a CD. Reset has no external button. Also an LED, but no biggie there.

The back is where the party is :P

Will update a min or two

EDIT: Shame my dads camera can take awesome pics if you manually adjust it, but then you loose the shaky-filter -_-

At any rate, here's a few. And I didn't peel the black plastic/tape back to see whats under it. But if you think it's important I will.

Sorry again for crap quality

Anyone know if it's doable, and can walk me through it? :respect:
