On the HD2900, does it cool the GDDR4 Memory as well of just the core of the VPU?

Also is it ok if you don't have anything cooling the RAM of the Graphics card? Can you like only Air cool or Water Cool the GPU and be ok or will this effect performace/overclocking abality of the RAM? Do they get to hot anyways?

I am thinking about buying this or a stand alone water cooling kit for my HD2900 Pro but don't know if I should get either due to the above questions.:confused:

I'm pretty sure you get little heatsinks for everything on there, including ram. I remember my ram was bare on my x800, I would put my finger on the chip while the computer was running in 3D, and it got pretty hot, burning hot after about 5 seconds--that RAM was at 490Mhz I think, and the new ram is now double that so it probably gets pretty hot.

Cause I don't see any mintion of RAM Heatsinks thats why I asked.
