Hercules 9800 pro problem

Hi all,

I've just installed this card and drivers and seeing desktop corruption. I haven't overclocked yet... only had it in for a minutes now.

I'm seeing bands with distorted colours and splotches of red/pink dots. The strange thing is that when i change the color depth to 16 Bit then the artifacts disappear... change it back to 32 Bit and they reappear.

Hope someone has an idea what's causing the problem.

You get corruption in games??
You tryed underclocking to see if the prob goes away??

Try uninstalling all of your ATI software and drivers, rebooting and reinstalling the drivers.

Yeah tried underlocking... but it doesn't help. Not seeing any changes as i lower clock speeds.

Haven't got enough faith in the card to try any gaming yet :).

Try uninstalling all of your ATI software and drivers, rebooting and reinstalling the drivers.

I'll try reinstalling them again... this is the procedure i followed when installing the drivers.

If that doesn't work it's prolly broken just RMA it....
