having only owned my abit AA8 duramax mainboard for literally a couple of weeks, i am not impressed with my nb cooler at all, its already started making a nice grindy noise and the nb fan speed in my abit eq prog is irregular.
This is my 3rd abit board and on every board i have had to replace the nb fan with a zalman cooler as all the fans have failed within weeks of first purchase.
What i am here to ask is on my AA8 it already has a fair sized heatsink and a fan cooler, but i have bought a zalman nb47J cooler.
Am i safe putting the zm cooler in place of the abit cooler on my AA8 or is on my mobo that not a wise move?
