I think $140 would be reasonable, you'll find a buyer right away. Else you could float it at $120 and make them bid at $4 increments, if you're lucky you could end up selling it for more than $150/$160

that would work nicely that may be enough to switch to am2 :D

More than enough. If you could do away with fries for a month or two, you could also squeeze in a Phenom 9500  :toast:

Ok that spilled my beer.

I didn't realise there also was a VIA Neo2. If that was working, you could sell them both for $190 or float them at $180 and knock off upto $220, again if you're lucky.

haha i didnt realize there was either but hey free=good in my book esp when i might make $1XX off it!

though i read the reviews on it...

Based on my experiences with VIA boards in the AMD arena, I did not have high hopes for this board going in to the review. Boy, was I in for a shocker. Not only did this board exceed my expectations, but in most cases, it easily kept up with the current reigning king of the P4 chipsets - the Intel i875P. What makes this even more of a shocker is the fact that this VIA PT880 chipset is being marketed as a value chipset, not the i875P killer that it is.

Damn! I did some research on that (your Neo2), that's really not a bad board! Did you see its scores?

I'm sad VIA just gave up making high-end chipset for both Intel and AMD. Ofcourse Intel's shithead industry politics killed it "Stop making processors or we'll not let you make chipset for our processors" is what Intel told VIA.

Not a bad board at all, if you could somehow get it to work.

Give her an iso-propyl bath.

Use ear-buds to clean the memory slots' metal contacts.

The Northwood P4s go for a little more than the Prescotts because they were better overclockers, and supported by more motherboards.

Though you should be able to get $100 or more for it.
