PROBLEM WITH SOFTMOD 9500 9500 NP with L-Shaped Memories

I HAVE A ATI Radeon 9500 NP with L-Shaped Memories, Red PCB I INSTALLED THE SOFTMOD AND WHEN I START MY COMPUTER AFTER THE WINDOWS XP LOADING SCREEN THE SCREEN TURN BLACK IT STAYS FROZEN CAN SOMEONE PLEASE TELL ME THE PROBLEM?

softmod doesnt work. Boot into safe mode and remove it. (tap F8 while starting up, then choose safe mode)

Yep, try booting into safe mode and unistalling the softmodded display driver. I guess you got unlucky and the pipelines on your card are really unusable...
