alright so moms down in virginia w/ my brother hanging out and chilling for a long time. and then my dad gets an urgent call by the feds to fly down to miami and attend an urgent meeting. and i was offered to come along but under the effect of benedryl(yes, it makes me drunk) i was like "yeahhhhh.... no. i'm fine here" and to be thinking i could in an all expenses paid trip to miami for like 2 weeks living in a 5 star hotel with a corporate credit card in my wallet meeting hot babes down there:banghead::banghead::banghead::banghead::bang head::banghead::banghead:, im stuck at home alone, and lonely. gf 1 is in boston, gf 2 is in virginia and half of my friends are away. and i have a fucked up knee(its filled with water or some shit like that) and i decided not to get surgery till my parents get back even though parents said i could... so yeah. cant play any sports really, going out can get painful at times. and a 5some with my 3 sf's didn't help the knee very much. so heres what i've done:

-partied a lot
-got WASTED
-took a bunch of joy rides to practice for my drivers test
-sex(and dont want more...)
-cooked for myself
-bunch of chores and stuff
-caught up on my tv shows
-beat half of pokemon diamond on my brothers ds(thank god he forgot it)
-loads and loads of gaming (and now im getting sick of gaming)
-learned how to work skype properly
-talked till midnight with a bunch of i'm-too-lazy-to-use-an-instant-messenger-so-i-use-skype skype users *cough*
-bunch of other stuff but its a blur?


umm so im running out of cooking/restaurant ideas(leave that bit to me). but what i really need is an idea as to what i should do.. im so freaking bored, sick of trying to im folks with my razr since my 8th sidekick just freaking got drowned, frustrated with pokemon and all the other crappy ds games, not interested in any more beer or sex.. what do i do?

D&D is a surprisingly good game. Yes I have played it before, here's the story :).

So unable to get a summer job (f*cking age bias at work again, nobody wants to hire you until you're 18), I volunteer for the summer school as a TA to kill the time. Not being the only one with this bright idea, I'm shuffled to some of the more, erm, extreme classes, Role Playing for Beginners being one of them. So, I walk in there, and waiting for me is a huge pile of D-20's, D-3's, D-8's..even a couple dice that had an obscene number of sides. Because I was there four hours every day for two weeks...I of course got into D&D. I did some cave quest involving rats, goblins, and swords. I was a level-two dwarf cleric, and I was doing pretty good :).

I used to play AD&D way back during my HS days. Our crew were fairly ingenious (one guy gave his character a weapon proficiency in eating utensils - cause you've always got them nearby), and any time any of us were DMing, we were absolutely fair. It was a lot of fun . . . but later, we realized how much of our lives were wasted away . . .

Although, TBH, I have to say that role playing really helps if you decide to pursue drama in school . . . many people I knew who were pen & paper gamers found it a lot easier to get into character on stage (myself included).

um lanparties is a no no. i might have my own system and be good at hardware and crap but yeah, i hardly know any lan party people around and certainly im not gonna hold one. old school games, maybe. i found my sweet spot anyway, i went over to a friends, got wasted and watched 300 with a bunch of friends. came home and fell asleep at like 3 in the morning and then i get a call at 8 in the morning in the middle of my sleep and its heather and in a nutshell its like:

heather: hey, wanna come over, ariana and megan are here and they wanna have some fun!
me: ehh.. not right now baby, later maybe
her: well atleast send your friend over from last time, he may have a small dick but hes got a big mouth and it drives us crazy
(and so i was like WTF?!?!?! in my head)

and then on the way home i see smoke coming out of one my houses and im like WTF. and it turns out my tenant is at work, his wife is taking a bath and their 7 year old girl is baking a cake? and shes like: i was suppossed to be watching the cake and then all the sudden i got smoke and so i thought it got burned so i put it in the freezer to un-burn it but now it just doesn't taste right. that had me laughing my ass off.

just cooked some chinnese style hakka noodles.. and now im bored outta my mind...

Personally, I've got the luxury to take hot showers, eat and fool around on the computer whenever I please. I have two reliable working cars in the driveway that I didn't even have to pay for (lolz I'm 17, they're my parents) and I can drive if I can dig up a good enough excuse, I'm on the road to become an elementary school teacher (assuming I get accepted to either of the colleges I applied to), I can play the electric guitar (and I have an awesome new amp!) reasonably well, I've been playing the viola for six years (going to Carnegie hall this March)...


You know, after you think about it for a while, you have quite a lot of stuff to be thankful for. I suppose it's just human nature to focus on what's NOT going right in your life as opposed to what is. For example, I want a girlfriend and a job, so I think about girls/money a lot... :laugh:.

$200 a month is an awful lot in general, and I geuss they jsut don't want you to get to used to mooching off them.

Example, when in fact I should be getting more money, because of the simple fact that I am now older, AND not to mention both my parents now have steady, stable jobs, earning more money, shouldn't it be true that I should earn larger sums of money for my allowance than before? Not to mention that I do more work around the house than before.
In fact, I now get no allowance (well, unless you count the £70 going into my savings account each month that I can't touch anyhow - but in saying that, all I need is a room, clothes, heat, food, and some electricity and I'm happy), while just 6 years ago, before I even knew you could feasibly build your own PC, I was earning £10 a week, doing fuck all at home. Also, there's the fact that there was £70 being paid into my savings account each month, just as there is now.

Bah, it's so confusing, it's the same with family gifts too. Before, I used to get, let's say, £50 from an aunt, and told to go off and spend it on some little toys or something (I had expensive card models on the top of my toy list, heh), while now, I get maybe £20, and a pair of underpants, or a box of chocolates or something.

dude - I didn't get shit when I was a teenager . . . I had a job by the age of 15, only because I could get a work permit - just my opinions, but $200 is quite a bit if you don't have a job


anyhow -learn Iron Man! it's not that hard to play - besides, if yer gonna play any hard rock/metal, and don't know how to play Iron Man, no metalhead will take you seriously . . . it's a staple, just like learning Metallica's Enter Sandman or One. actually, man - it's not too bad at all, really. You're on spot for being in tune, and hitting near all the notes as best I can tell (.wmv - what can I say :p) . . .

needs more distortion!!! Really, bring up the bass and reverb some more and record it again - then come back 30min later and listen to it once the initial play is out of your head. This is also a great song for experimenting with . . . try going down a whole octane, or even just going simple and dropping D - beef up the power chords some more!

woohoo that was some greatass deal. i bought 3 7" digital photo frames for $75 bucks! one for gf#1, one for gf#2 and one for mom. and then i bought a DIY oil change kit for my dad. chipped in a bit to help fix my dads old car and bought loads of cloths. yeah, i cant keep my money in my pocket roflmao. i struck a deal for $600 in cold hard cash. but it meant that i had to do fire duty for 3 hours =/ me and paty finished up most of our work in the computer lab so all's well.

Ibanez Gio is the name of the guitar, and I hooked it up to a Marshall MG30DFX (30W Marshall amp). I caught it with the movie-mode of a digital camera and compressed it in Windows Movie Maker (95MB = lol).

I also used a Digitech RP200 guitar processor, which knocked my tuning down two steps and gave me my favorite overdriven sound. I love that thing.

Thank you. I hope you didn't find it too UT-ish and the digitars not sounding too much of 8-bit. The vocals were given an interpolation that stepped up the sounds of the "ssss" and the singer taking a breath. which was added to the real vocals without those sounds.
