My case which is a thing of beauty and is still in good working condition has 1 minor flaw.No usb ports on the front side.Of course with me on the verge of getting a printer ad I just got a camera, and the gamepad, etc kinda a pain in the rear to move computerdesk around(tearing it up further). Also just got a backup hard drive 500 gb and would like to be able to use that once in awhile when the occasion arises.Im listening to one and all that there s a better solution than doing nothing.Buying another case is outta the question though. Thanks!!

Just get a usb/firewire/card reader front panel kit, that uses a 3.5 or 5.25 spot. :toast:

Something similar to that.

Is that stupid on my part to tie up one of my extra slots with this or what?Seems like a viable solution. How much would you say it'd cost? Thanks!!Happy Holidays there buddy. WASP

You could also get an add-on USB Hub PCI Card for cheap also...but that's still routing USB cables around the back of the case.
As-far-as the front add-in, I'd go for the one that uses the extra USB header pins on the MB itself so you don't lose your rear USB's.

here is a nice one for $10 and it can be used as an external device or mounted into the case drive bay.
USB (2 ports), FireWire, Audio, PS/2 mouse or keyboard, Game Port for joystick or MIDI keyboard

i'd just get a 2 meter extension lead and a (powered) USB 2.0 hub.
