So yeah time for another upgrade tbh! I've got £130-ish to spend, I believe that can get me an 8800GT? I'd think that'd be the smartest, any other ideas? I play Supreme Commander mostly, system hungry but runs pretty fine on my PC.

OR should I just not upgrade and perhaps get The Orange Box and save up or something along those lines.

if your satisfied with the level of detail given by your current graphics in the games you play then stick with it. only buy a new video card if you actually need it.

If it works, why ditch it?

Save and spend it on gas, I hear you English get shafted worse than us.

^^^ lol, yea it works out around 8 bucks a gallon,so i guess we do but we get shafted for everything here $10 for 20 smokes $6 for a beer. you get the picture.

you might get a 256mb one from overclockers for that cash but depending on what you play you might not notice too much difference. looking at your specs tho thats the aera i would upgrade next if i was you.

Holy fvck.

Tank of gas it should be.

That's nuts.

If everything runs fine, don't change a thing.

Ah, but what is the average salary over there? Has to be pretty good to afford those prices. If you want an upgrade, I would say an 8800GT for sure.

lol according to govenment figures the UK's national average salary is roughly £30k per year ($50k-60k ? )

but tbh thats utter rubbish ,its only so high cos the cost of living in the south (London etc) is so high compared to the rest of the country its bumps it up.

in the north where i live ur average typical full time job is maybe £11k - £16k ish depending on wat u do.
So roughly around $30k ?

(i beleive the national minimum wage is approx £11k in the uk now)

as some1 said we get shafted on a regular basis :)

Well, 50 or 60K is mid class here. Our minimum is like $5.85 an hour.
