Have the Sapphire X800 Provivo been changed?

Does any one know if they have started making laser cuts to the newer PCIE X800 Pro Vivio cards? I have been trying to unlock the extra pipes. I have flashed my card correctly using the x800 pro vivo 16p bios, but atitool sees only 12 pipes. I have already tried the clean driver install. The only thing left is to take the heatsink off and look. Id rather not do that as I am not ready to tinker with that kinds of stuff. Any help or input would be appreciated.

I think they have been making cuts to the PCI-E versions since they released them.

Yup, you can hardmod the card then do a bios flash. The pipes may not work, but there is a chance that they will.
