ocuk replaced my x1950pro card with a power color one.the first time city link try to deliver it,they said no one was home so they left a card.I was in the whole day.It was supposed to come today so i waited in again, till gone 6pm,checked on the tracking site and it seems the idiot driver left it with a "neighbour" at no. 28.( i rang them and the driver rang me back)I went to no.28,he says no delivery has been,so it seems the idiot has not even been on the right street.I am gonna ring up in morning and try and find out were exactly he left the card.

Heres the clincher,i'm expecting my 3850 tommorow so i am gonna have to be up early in morn to ring them and say DO NOT leave it at the same address you lost the other card to and i WILL be in all day.For gods sake, how do these people even get a job.

You should try and find out the address of where they left it, with any luck you may discover a enough parts from other people to build another rig. Could be a black hole :slap:

Lol, even ASDA track their delivery vans in real time on an ISOTrack system and they're not exactly couriers (although I can see why they do it).

I went to a warehouse with my college and it wasn't too bad.

Maybe City Link needs to introduce the same system.

Seems you're no longer alone in facing problems with City Link. A small package should ahve arrived for me the other day, but no such luck. I wasn't in all day, and they "came round" when I wasn't around, but no card was at my door. I checked the site, they said it was let though, so I'm getting confused.
Day after, I'm in absolutely all day, I was definitely not out of the house for more than five minutes, and even then, I was close by. Later in the afternoon, I check, and again, it says I was carded, since I was "closed". Going to be picking up the package later on, no matter what they tell me. Taking passport, Portuguese ID, proof of address, and my package's reference number written down. If they complain, I'll smack them upside the mouth.

Funny how they were fine for a delivery on the 24th, which was just like two weeks ago, but now, they've suddenly turned into a crap company. A friend's EeePC was meant to arrive today, but didn't, with City Link's site showing that the delivery point was carded, which was untrue (while the time it was carded at coincides with the same time that my friend was online with me, on MSN), while Ebuyer's site displays that there was no-one in, and the item was signed for by the neighbour, which again, isn't true.

All very confusing, I must say. I wonder if this is their New Year's Resolution: Become the worst delivery company in the world, and give everyon a hard time from now on.

I got the package in the end,it turned out they have left it with number 28 stanly street, not exchange street. It was on the other side of town the retards, how can the driver mistake stnly street for exchange st,i mean come on.

ring them up on the depo's number, heres the number for the scunthorpe depo, they should be able to put you through or give you the number for your local depo.-01724 840777.i had to ring them 4 times in the same day to get it sorted.

I'l get it sorted tommrow, their automated answer machines already gave me my local number, but thanks. Hopefully I'll be abel to get something sorted out, not only because I can't seem to be able to contact Ebuyer unless it's by phone, post or enotes... they don't have their email address up on their contact us page. I wanted to see if Ebuyer would put pressure on them, but like this, I can't do a thing.

Also, turns out that Ebuyer is sending one of my other items seperately, and it's in tock, with hundreds upon hundreds in stock, and yet they still failed to send it out to me yet... I'm getting annoyed.

Dudes you don't understand the delivery man's mentality. They don't give a shit. I've worked for 3 weeks on a van in Spain, mostly pharmacies and auto-shops. After one week I was throwing those freaking packages over the wall  Also you ever wondered why your components arrive dead? Well me and the other guy were playing football with those suckers when we had to sort them out in the van. There was this one instance tho when it was too much. We had a big-ass electric engine in the back and we didn't secure it properly, and a couple of boxes in the front. They were big square boxes, but after a sudden brake :banghead: when we went to check them out they looked like books. I was like dude we're fucked, my friend was like nah I'll sort them out. So he started to fluff them and blow them with his mouth. I laughed my ass off. That was the only complaint we got. He made them look kinda ok but the medicine inside turned to dust...

We train people here to get it ready for a drop kick. And try to make it to heavy to kick.
My projector was THROWN out of the back of the UPS truck when we had a temp filling in, I caught it and started to scream at this puny little shit, who turned white and started blubbering about how sorry he was. I called the local depot and said if he wasn't fired they could count on us never using UPS again. I haven't seen him since. Our regular guy is good, and he knows when those newegg boxes come they better look pristine or not even unload them.

I have had a regular delivery guy for the past year now. He's a good guy, that seems to be good at his job or competent at least, so I'm pretty much sure that he's not the one gven the package I ordered. I'm getting pretty dissappointed.

The packages I get from Ebuyer are nearly always pretty damned well packaged, so I'm happy with them.
