gainward 6600 (not gt) moddability?

a buddy of mine who's too lazy to do his own reaserch and questioning wanted me to find out if its possible to mod (hard or soft) a non-gt gainward 6600 256mb AGPx8 card to a GT?

i'm not overly familiar with NV based cards myself, so i thought i'd ask around here.
is it possible to flash mod or hard mod that particular card to a 6600GT?
it's probably overclockable to GT speeds, but i still figured i'd ask.

any feedback or advice on this matter will be greatly aprriciated. thank you.

No, it doesnt have GDDR3 like the 6600GT.

The core should hit GT speeds(or higher), but the memory is totally different on the vanilla 6600's.
