Because I am obsessed with numbers and new things, I decided to post a thread dedicated to the next generation of ATI cards: The R5XX.
Here are some links to stuff already written about the R5XX.
This piece (http://www.theinquirer.net/?article=17622) is about the chip's codename "Fudo"
This place (http://www.techspot.com/vb/showthread.php?threadid=15032) has a short piece about the new GPU, and it also has a link to here (http://www.theinquirer.net/?article=18086).
Here (http://www.theinquirer.net/?article=18232) is another link to the Inquirer, this time, it's about transistors.
Here (http://www.xbitlabs.com/news/video/display/20040806014926.html) is my final link of this post, this time from X-bit labs.
If you can't be bothered to read the links, basically they say that the new chip is codenamed "Fudo", COULD have ~300million transistors, WILL support S.M 3.0, and will be released next year.
Now all I have to do is wait... :D
Oh, and if you find more stuff, feel free to post links. This is, after all, a public forum.
