Very few things are impossible.

One could theoretically make a external, mutli-slot pci-e bus expansion chassis to hold two high-end graphics cards, and then extend the pci-e bus from the laptop to the external chassis.

Given the perceived technical expertise of the OP, I think it is a safe bet to say this is not going to happen.

There are notebooks with SLI, but AFAIK there are no notebooks with Crossfire.

Kreij, does that mean it's technically possible to use a desktop graphics card in a 'home made' caddy sort of thing through a laptop's pci-e slot?i'm sure i remember something about asus making plans for and external graphics processor for laptops, would be an interesting modding project :laugh:

They have been working on them for a while...no release date as of yet as far as I know.
