I modded my X800 to an x800pe, and installed a Silencer 4 on it, which works great. However, I wish to run the fan at higher speed than the 43% that it normally runs at. I would like to know if there is a bios tweak that will allow the fan to run higher, or even 100%. I dont want to use software all the time to change the speed.

there is no way because nobody has figured out where/how the bios stores the fan control information

Well, is there a hardware method? I wish that someone would create a bios flash to increase the fan speed!!!!!

if you want to run it at 100% disconnect the fan power from the video card and connect the fan wire to 12v from the psu

you can set ati tool to boot up when your comp starts and load a profile so in that profile just set the speed to 100%. thats the only way i can think of.
