Hd 3850 512mb Gddr4 ??? Hd 3870

looking at the specs i see no difference b/w this and the hd 3870 , so whats the truth , cause its damn cheap for 199.99 is its just a hd 3870 clocked lower and has gddr4 mem ???? hurry n tell me , also will this work in crossfire with another hd 3870 =P

nevermind , just read the 2nd review post by a guy who pruchased , says newegg mistakenly put gddr4 instead of gddr3 in their info specs , which cud be a very evil mistake , seriously , i almost bought it , but i stopped and thought i'd like to consult with my trusted techpowerup buddies =)

STOP! HAM... Get the HD 3850 IceQ from HIS I got my core at 786mhz thats higher than the HD 3870 :eek: I got my mem at 998mhz thats almost to the HD 3870 but its got GDDR4 so its not fair!! lol

No it wouldnt work with another 3870 unless somehow you could flash bios to 3870s.

ive heard about ati allowing mixing different gpu's but i dont think you can do that yet.
