As mentioned in ONE of AMD/ATIs retailers new price list, the new AMD HD3870X2 1GB GDDR3 will cost around 500$ US. I can't tell you the name of the company but is one of the big ATI cards Makers! :) this is w/o VAT

In fact the Gamespot video of the AMD booth at CES where they showcased the HD3870 X2, the AMD representative was telling the ballpark price $400~$500.
