View Full Version : Memory Voltage Confusion!!!

I just noticed that in my bios my mem voltage is set to 2.70 is this abnormally high cos the numbers flash red in the bios and says this isn't recommended. But i don't have any problems. and my RAM is just cheap DDR400. Pls help :(

The standard voltage for value ram is 2.6v, your fine, it may be running a little hotter, but sometimes the extra voltage will help with stability. Good overclocking ram like BH-5, will take up 3.3 easily, and extreme overclockers will go al the way to 3.8v+.
