I have a plain x1950xtx video card. I have been having major issues with it. It wont let me install newer drivers then what came on disc for it. It also is not giving me the frame rates that it is supposed too. I need someone to give me an actual ATI Brand bios not sapphire or whatever. I cant take a risk on sapphires or someone else messing up this card. It is my only one and I'm currently out a job so I cant afford a new one. I have been trying to get through to the guys at ATI through there support and I am getting no where. I am sorry I haven't been around as much as I used to some of you older guys may or may not remember me. I have attached both a lavalys report of my system and the bios i currently have. Maybe someone can figure out y its running so hot. Also I have reinstalled windows 3 times before it did not fix this problem. I get around 100 frames. The only thing that is currently overclocked is my ram and it is stable. I also tried running it like its supposed to along with many other configurations and it just made my computer slower. i really need help with this guys this is my gaming rig and it is my one computer that i use for everything and this video card is not running very well at all. I have tried the old warcat drivers and I have tried omega drivers none of them work and the catalyst control center never starts on this computer. I have .net 1.1 - 3.0 all of them so it should. If any of you guys have some pull at ATI and can get me the firmware it would be greatly appreciated. Also I tried using the Arctic Cooler for this card and i did the required pin mod to make it work it was worse then the stock cooler by alot.
So plz take a look at the firmware if you have an ATI Brand firmware for the x1950xtx i could use upload it. If you have any suggestions about the drivers tell me. keep in mind guys im a techie not a nub so i know my stuff.
