Hello
I have a connect3d 9800pro with the core that can be biosed up to an xt card
I have looked for a bios by connect 3d for a 128mb xt card but cant find one.
I think i need to find one with the same memory as mine ?
also, do i need to get a new cooler perform i flash my bios ?
thanks
Alex
There on that forum are a lot of 9800PRO to XT 128MB discussions and you should search and read more carefully. Firs of all read this: http://www.rojakpot.com/default.aspx?location=3&var1=92&var2=0
Second you must remove the heatsink and to inspect the core with your own eyes (no software will tell you what exactly chip do you have). When you are sure that you have R360 :D core (only moddable) determine what exactly type PCB do you have (post the PCB PN also). The last one is to tell us the memory type (Hynix or Samsung - post what is writen on the memory chips). If you definitely have R360 and want to have it with XT speeds you will need better cooling ;) .
Don't care about the BIOS (it is not important what is writen about producer - PowerColor, Sapphire or whatever else) after passing the previous steps with OK we will find way to help you with the BIOS ;) .
First care about R360 core!!!!
Good luck.

ATI tool can recognise the core...if i donīt mix it up with other programs??
ATITool reads what is write in the BIOS it is possible to make ATITool to read that instead Rxxx core you have monkey for instance. What then?
