i have been thinking of using it using my disco 256mb spare usb pen, do you think it will improve performance?i only have 1g of ram and wont be buying anymore as at some stage this year i will get a new system!!

ive just started to use dreamscene which looks good but i know it must put a lot of demand of my system

Id say no with 256meg if you could get a 1 gig usb or memory card you would ive read to use the same amount of memory as in ur system for best performance.

Didn`t benchmark anything , but I didn`t notice much of a difference using an adata 8gb pen-drive

i have no idea how fast the stick is and i cant test it as hd tech doesnt work in vista!!

would it harm performance?i read somewhere that it can make programs run slower?

I don't know that it would harm performance, but I don't think it will help performance either from what I've read....
