HD 3870, crank the clocks and this is one hell of a card. Im running 891/1423 with a q6600@3.8 getting 14113 on 3dmark06.

So you know, the Radeon 9000 series is not all the same generation. For example, the 8500/9000/9200/9250 are all related and they went up against the Geforce 4 generation. Because the Ti 4600 continually spat on their faces, ATI introduced a then next-gen card, the 9700 pro. It smoked the Geforce 4 series and the 9800 pro dominated everything in the Geforce FX series and still only needed weak single slot cooling!

Evidence of this is that recent Catalyst drivers only support back to the Radeon 9500 series and beyond.

One of the best setups I ever had was matrox g200 with 2 voodoo 12 mb cards those were the days

Well... I had a 9200SE and a 9550 and a 9800PRO... I gave away the 9200, and recently the 9550 died about last year a few days ago my 9800PRO went kaput as well.

Now I only have a X1950PRO and a 8800GT (Thats arriving soon).
