I've already purchased my Corsair 620HX because I was planning on doing 8800GT in SLI. But now I'm having second thoughts and I want to get an X38 board and 2x HD3870 in Crossfire. Do you think the PSU would be able to handle those cards?

yes, it should, you're using the stuff in your system specs right?

With your specs yes it should be more than enough those cards dont use much power.

The system will be mostly the same. Its going to be receiving a quad core, either a Q6600, Q6700, or one of the new 45nm quads. It will also be using an H20-120 Compact Swiftech liquid cooling kit. I will also add a RaptorX 150gb drive and a 750gb Hitachi, both SATA (replacing the 2x maxtor drives).
