I made a thread just like this so TPU could help me out. Most people told me and I ended up buying the Thermalright Ultra 120 eXtreme Heatsink. Its number one out of the TOP Ten BEST Heats Sinks, so I'd go with that. Also Don't forget to get you'r self a 120mm fan, or else you'd be running it passive.
EDIT: dang technicks, you beat me to him. I'm always was late at posting....

I think the BEST would be the geminii, but you would need a HUGE case for that, the next best would be the thermalright Ultra 120 extreme, but it doesn't come with a fan.

thats a good one too
and i have one of these

i cant fit the dual 120mm bracket in my case without moving my HDD cage which i haven't had a chance to do yet and seeing how i only have 1 spare 120mm its not on my priority list,
so just FYI its HUGE and heavy.

I think (and I hope) any 120mm Fan should do the job. I got one with 90CMF, but they have 110 as well.

No way the Gemini is better then the Thermalright.
It isn't even in the top 10 of best air coolers. But i must admit it is a great cpu/system cooler.

I just looked at the CoolerMaster GeminII CPU Cooler and you're right... it is HUGE... would it fit in Antec P182 case? I'm worried that it will get in the way of my 8800GT

yeah thats all you need and most of the coolers come with all the mounting stuff for the fans (i know the gemini II does)

stick a DVD case in your case and if it fits the gemini II will without the fan bracket which means you can mount a single 120mm fan on it. add 3in to the dvd case bottom and thats how big with the brackets

i like that one because it cools the mobo as well but I don't think i want something that big in the case.. it will get annoying after a while... I think I'll just go with the Thermalright and mount a single fan.. it'll do the job

yeah the gemini II kinda takes the cake for absurdly large  its a beast and almost happens to weigh more than the powmax PSU i pulled the 120mm fan for it out of

its a good cooler that can cool down almost all your computer parts. It is huge but not that bad at it... you can fit 2 120 fans on it. so if you find one that you like, buy two. I do suggest that you make sure that your board has the room for that sort of thing. My gigabyte was a full ATX board and i know I could fit it, but now that I have a blood Iron with a cooler master Hyper tx-2 vantec tornado combo, I don't think I could even fit the gemini on my board... I can't even use the first ram slot on my board because of how big my cooler is now... But, I may be able to. the heat pipe is made to angle so you may have a chance with a smaller board, but I don't feel like rmaing another thing this month! 4 is enough in one my IMO!

sorry for the double post... you can also make the gemini go vertical instead of how they show it... but it doesn't cool down the ram, and it might be even tighter that way...
