Hey, I was wondering about Physics cards. I've heard of them as being cards, like sound and video, that calculate 1000's of times more physics moves than a graphics card or processor. Do you think they're actually gonna build them? And if so, is it really gonna help games much? I mean there are some pretty realistic physics in modern games (ragdoll effect), but I mean is it practical to buy a physics card? THanks

If games use them they offer some nice options. If they will actually stay on the market is a different thing. I'd wait for at least the 2nd generation, see how many games will support it, wait for benchmarks and prices to drop.

Okay thanks. I mean I've seen what they can do, but I don't think it will be that noticable and if it will take a lot of load off the graphics card. I mean individual blades of grass and leaves moving is cool, but you're gonna have to crouch and zoom to even tell they are.
