Well I know something with better price that a deal on the MSI NX8800GT-T2D512E GeForce 8800GT 512MB is only $185 (http://www.dealstudio.com/searchdeals.php?deal_id=83475&ru=282).
yes i have the XFX reference 8800GT, no complaints whatsoever.
great card, great value, updated cooler.
bam.

just buy this, its the best deal around by far. however, clubit is a bit of a pain if u have to RMA, u have to pay shipping on the way back. where as newegg would take care of that for you no problem. so keep that in mind, and fedex is freaking slow as hell. took mine over a week to come

Do you have the one with the black or green PCB? (600/900 clock speed)
black, and it looks really really cool hey, and yes 600/900 stock, however mine is bios edited to run @ 720/1728/1944, runs without a hitch.
the ONLY criticism for this card would be the fan noise at 100%, but hey, at 100% the gpu is at a nice 65 degrees under load, as opposed to over 80 on the original cooler, way too hot imo.
so for now i can deal with a little noise while i suss out what after market cooler to slap on.

Do you have any problems with some games not liking your overclock? What about screensavers? Does your video sometimes go unresponsive and then recover successfully?
no glitches whatsoever, and there was only ever two games that didn't like my over clock, which was Driver: parallel lines and Test Drive Unlimited, but they were only sensitive to the memory running at 2.0ghz, so i backed it off to 1944mhz which really doesn't cut away much bandwidth at all.

GoW doesnt like my overclock and my screensaver doesnt either. Its weird.
try backing off the memory, that worked for me....
